Apprenticeship and traineeship training contracts are generated through the Commonwealth Department of Education, Skills and Employment's administrative system. The new system, ADMS, went live on 11 April. Since then, technical issues have prevented the registration of most training contracts across the country, including in Victoria.
The VRQA and officials in other states and territories are helping the Commonwealth ADMS team identify the technical problems so they can be fixed. The Commonwealth ADMS team has made some progress. However, as of 6 May, most new or updated training contracts are not able to be processed.
