We understand the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) will have adverse consequences on our RTO's operations, including financial. We also acknowledge that much of the in-person training RTOs deliver is going to be impacted during this State of Emergency.
We are working with the Department of Education and Training on practical measures to support VRQA-registered RTOs.
If you are considering changing delivery practices, for example, online training, re-sequencing of delivery of units or components of units, delaying practical assessment in work placement, make sure you record in student files and other appropriate documentation the details of any modifications made to delivery and/or assessment.
If you have decided to suspend operations, please advise the VRQA by email and include the following information:
- TOID of the organisation
- the expected duration suspended operations (in a period of uncertainty, we understand that this may be subject to change)
- confirmation that students have been advised that training is suspended/not available
- additional contact persons for us to contact if new information is available (email and/or phone number).
