The updated Guidelines to the Minimum Standards and Requirements for School Registration (Guidelines) commence on 1 July 2019 for all Victorian registered schools.
Many of the evidence requirements within the Guidelines have been rewritten or have changed to reflect contemporary practices in schools.

The Guidelines detail the requirements of the minimum standards for registration of schools and other requirements under the Education and Training Reform Act 2006 and the Education and Training Reform Regulations 2017. Schools use the guidelines at review and to maintain ongoing compliance with the requirements for registration.
We encourage schools to familiarise themselves with the updated Guidelines.
